About the programme
A three-day learning program combining visits to Gulbene’s heritage sites and craft studios, hands-on exchanges on traditional techniques and souvenir design, community-focused heritage stewardship, plus digital promotion training, to equip participants with practical skills in heritage interpretation, product development, community collaboration and online marketing.
The subject of the curriculum is cultural heritage, craftsmanship and creative industries as entrepreneurial promoters.
The goal is to provide adult educators and life-long learning experts with good practice and practical knowledge to raise awareness of the opportunities of creative industries in promoting employment, especially in rural regions.

● Applied-art-based souvenir lines. Brainstorming, opportunity mapping and developing a draft project for a place-based souvenir line
● Digital promotion of small creative entrepreneurs – low budget options with high impact (photo, video, canva.com designs)
● Growing the income for small creative entrepreneurs – Etsy and making of own
homepages
● Finalising the place-based souvenir line project, presentations
● Follow-up activities, evaluation and certification
